| 2012-02-28 Christina R. | I bought this fountain primarily because I liked the look of it in the picture and it was the perfect height for the place i wanted to put it indoors. First of all, it comes with virtually no instructions. One small paper, second of all, the look of it is not the same of the picture. Its pretty much all dark grey. You will get some contrast with the coloring of the pots when the lights are on, but otherwise its much darker grey in color (overall - rocks and the water pots are all one big dark gray). There is not good contrast in colors. It splashes quite a bit (not great for indoors), and the water sound is too loud (it kind of sounds like an annoying faucet running-even with the pump on the lowest setting). The lighting is very bright. I think it would have been nicer with maybe some more subtle softer colored lights. I would send it back if it was easier to do (65 lbs) is a lot to try and repackage and get shipped back. Right now, I am trying to research perhaps putting some rocks inside the pots to reduce the splashing and loud water sound. Overall, I was disappointed in this fountain, especially for 500 dollars. |
